The progressive Co-operative Credit Union sited at Anglo in the Keta District of the Volta region of Ghana has organized an in service training on Customer Service and Banking operations for its workers at its office at Keta.

The training program was put together by management of PCCU in collaboration with Micro Watch and Spring Premier a banking consultancy.

Christiana Ofosu, the Manager for PCCU clarified that management thought it wise to organize the training to improve customer relations of the management and staff. It was also necessary to equip them with modern banking operations and update them also on the challenges that goes with it.

In all over forty two staff were trained and they acknowledged that the training has been very insightful and educative and express optimism that PCCU will grow to higher heights after this training.

Mr. Ladzekpo G.A.S, the Board Chairman of PCCU was at the training and expressed satisfaction at the program. He was however, quick to add the trainings of such nature was necessary every quarter in order to build a formidable Credit Union.
