PHCCU UNDERTAKES ANOTHER FREE HEALTH SCREENING FOR POLICE

The Ghana Police Hospital Co-operative Credit Union (PHCCU), has organized a health screening exercise for Police Personnel/Officers at the Greater Accra Regional Police Headquarters as part of Its Corporate Social Responsibility ahead of its 10th Anniversary celebration.
It is the third of several medical outreach programs earmarked ahead of the anniversary celebration and also create sensitization about the Police Credit Union and the opportunities it presents to members and prospective members.
Similar exercises have taken place at the Tema Police Regional Command, the National Police Headquarters and the Formed Police Unit of the Ghana Police service.
Several Police officers, men and civilian employees took part in the exercise that presented participants with lots of various health related check-ups such as blood pressure, hepatitis B, weight and height BMI, eye, blood sugar, hypertension, malaria, HIV/AIDS test, health education and sensitization on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The Inspector General of Police, Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh will be the Special Guest of Honor for the PHCCU 9th Annual General Meeting and tenth Anniversary Celebration at the Police Head Quarters Cafeteria on Friday October 18, 2019.

The former General Manager for the Credit Union Association Ghana (CUA), Mr. Emmanuel Oduro Darko is also the Guest speaker.
The 10th anniversary and AGM will be climaxed on Sunday, October 27, 2019 with a church service at the 37 Police Church at 8 am prompt.
